Personal Logo Project
This was a project in Foundations of Product Realization (ME 102). The goal was to design and print a symbolic representation of something personally meaningful.
Overview
Designed to be printed at full-scale, the Torch Logo prominently features my initials when viewed from the top.
Creative Direction
Starting with sketches of three-dimensional logos, I began to visualize a cube with the letter J on all sides with a D on the top and bottom. Creating a mockup out of foam core, I realized the resemblance to a torch, and immediately lit it on fire for proof of concept. After modeling it in Fusion 360, I printed it on the 3D printer provided to us.
